• Channel Hop: The show aired on its home network ABS-CBN for ten years from 2009 to 2019 until ABS-CBN was forced to sign blocktime deals with its former rivals due to a widely-publicised network shutdown in 2020. As of 2024 the show currently broadcasts through cable and satellite channels Kapamilya Channel and Jeepney TV, as well as free-to-air television channels A2Z, GMA Network and its sister channel, GTV.
• Dueling Shows: With long-running variety show Eat Bulaga!, though in contrast to ABS's other weekday variety shows which usually last for just a few years, Showtime is perhaps the only one to be airing for a decade. This came to a head when the current iteration of Bulaga was airing under its placeholder title E.A.T., particularly with their row with the MTRCB over an alleged obscene act by Vice and Ion and perceived double standards with how the ratings bureau handled both Showtime and E.A.T.
