◊ reveals that Stargazer was originally planned to be a telescope rather than a pair of binoculars, and had a much smaller form, being only slightly taller than May and Cody's doll bodies. - As seen here in this video The game originally ended with May and Cody conjoined together as a heart through the dark subconscious of Rose fighting a dark shadowy being, Where they (and by extension the Book) later learned that the Book is not a best seller but a one copy wonder under the name of someone else to the ANGER of both May and Cody. It was changed to ending with a concert where May sings on stage and her and Cody shares The Big Damn Kiss turning them back to normal. However, Rose stating that she found the book at school in a trashcan was likely a nod to the reveal in the earlier version.

- Word of God: According to Josef Fares, the infamous murder of Cutie the Elephant was intended to make May and Cody come across as egotistic and callous. Also, Cutie is alive after she's been repaired at the end.
