- Creator Couple: With his wife, Ihriel (Heidi Solberg Tveitan). They had a project called Peccatum that released several albums and EPs (some with Ihriel's brother Lord PZ, who is also the brother of Einar Solberg of Leprous) and have occasionally made guest appearances on each other's albums (her main project is Star of Ash). They also had a Folk Metal project called Hardingrock alongside fiddle player Knut Buen, which released one album in 2007.
- Creator's Oddball: Das Seelenbrechen. The album was completely improvised, and its prominent avant-garde (with Scott Walker and Diamanda Galás being noted as influences) and dark ambient elements and general lack of actual metal elements make it stand out when compared to the rest of his discography.
