  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The game was stuck in this limbo for literal decades. There were promises of a 25th Anniversary Edition, but that was met with multiple legal issues before ultimately having to rename itself as TseuQuesT in order to continue development. However, Hasbro set up a crowdfunding campaign to bring the game back, and it eventually hit store shelves again.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers: Part of why the game hadn't seen a rerelease in decades; Games Workshop still owns some of the rights. Even Hasbro's relaunch had to change some character names to distance itself from the Warhammer universe
  • Sequel Gap: The last expansion before the game went out of print was the The Mage of the Mirror pack that included The Quest Pack for the Elf. It would be decades before the crowdfunding campaign gave us not one, but three quest books; Prophecy of Telor, Spirit Queen's Torment, and Crypt of Perpetual Darkness, all originally released to HasbroPulse Mythic backers in 2021.
  • What Could Have Been: Gremlin Interactive was working on an NES adaptation, but it was never officially released. Two ROMs of the game were put on the internet, an incomplete US build, and a near-complete European build, so it at least made it up to the beta stages before ultimately being shelved.
