Trivia / Gory Toons

• Ascended Fanon: "Home Sweet Pineapple - Gory Edition" started out as an episode idea suggested by a user in YouTube's comment section.
• Blooper:
  • This occasionally happens with many characters who have certain parts that face a specific way. Sometimes, they are mirrored resulting in it getting flipped. The most well-known example revolves SpongeBob's holes. They would often disappear from his model, or change positions.
  • Generally, considering what budget (or the lack thereof) this show has, especially considering MS Paint is the animation program used to draw models for characters who aren't from Happy Tree Friends or South Park, some mistakes are bound to get left in.
    • Kirby's blushes often ceased to be present in many episodes and his size was erroneously inconsistent.
    • Cuddles' tail was frequently absent in many episodes, and in some cases, he goes through entire episodes with it completely missing, like in "Zombodie Told Me".
  • Toothy and SpongeBob have this issue in some episodes with their buckteeth which are supposed to be longer than usual. However, certain episodes sometimes shift between his original teeth and for the most part, the teeth everyone else has. The most infamous example is "All For Ski" where SpongeBob spends the majority of the episode with regular teeth.
• Creator Backlash:
  • The creator once admitted that he wasn't too proud of the episode "Road Rage".
  • Gory Toons was this as a whole. The series being created whilst in the peak of controversies didn't help matters. DailyAirings had distanced himself from Gory Toons in the effort of improving himself as a person and unlisted all but two episodes, which were Down The Snatch and Dieseling Derby. As of the start of December 2023, the full series has been made public again.
• Creator's Favorite: Daily Airings has stated that SpongeBob is his favorite character.
• No Budget: No money is required or given to make this series.
• Schedule Slip:
  • In mid-2022, Gory Toons faced a lengthy hiatus, as no episodes were released between April 11, 2022 and August 11, 2022.
  • Gory Toons had no episodes released for the first half of 2023. The series finally resumed when Season 3 released its first episode on April 8. The hiatus continued once more for six months, until the Halloween Special "Good Fright".
