Trivia / Gormiti

  • No Export for You:
    • Multiple pieces of merch were released only in Italy.
    • The various exclusive figures packed with magazines (usually redecos of older figures in the color scheme of the then current series) weren't released in many countries outside of Italy, with a few of them coming out in France.
    • This also works backwards: a few exclusive redecos were exclusive of other countries outside from Italy (such as the gold and silver versions of various characters from Series 3 and Energheia released only in UK, Poland, Greece and USA).
    • The mix and match figures of the Series 1 lords were released in most of Europe and the US but not in Italy. As an extra, the US release (which changed the way the figures work from magnets to pegs) also came with exclusive redecos of their Energheia figures, while France got only Gheos, Polypus and Magmion.
    • The promotional shorts also had limited releases: The Series 1 short The Origins was released only in Italy, Spain, UK and Greece with most of the other countries instead getting its remake The Legend Begins, while the Atomic short The Great Betrayal has been released only in Spain and Portugal.
  • Remade for the Export: Energheia, the remake of Series 1 released alongside Mythos, was mainly produced to be released as "Series 1" outside of Italy.
    • This also applies for the promotional short: instead of the Limited Animation The Origins, most of the countries that got Energheia as "Series 1" got The Legend Begins, a full CGI short made by the same studio behind the Final Evolution miniseries.
  • Short Run in Peru: The last four episodes of the Legends mini-series were streamed in Spain before their Italian airing.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • A private catalog from 2007 mentions how a series of Gormiti Happy Meal toys was going to be released, something that ultimately never happened. The catalog also shows a picture of a "city of clouds" playset for the People of the Air that was never released.
    • The Fossil Tribe from Final Evolution was originally going to be called the Bones Tribe.
    • Rottenleaf, a Forest Gormite from Elemental Fusion, is one of the few characters we have development sketches due to being used as the main example for a "behind the scenes" article on the official Gormiti Magazine. There it was revealed that he was originally going to be a more shaman-esque character with berry-covered hands, which was probably discarded because the berry theme would give him more colors than his tribemates.
    • The promotional short for the Luxion series, The Infinite Light Energy, was supposed to be a pilot for a full show that was ultimately never aired.
    • The description used for the Spanish dub of the Legends mini-series describes a completely different final episode than the one that actually came out: the main difference is that the description mentions the arrival of Noctis to help the other tribes to fight against Magor, teasing a return of the Air Tribe (which was otherwise absent in the series) for a second year of the series. This doesn't happen at all in the actual show.
