• Troubled Production: Let's just say, when Jenny Nicholson decided to do a video on the park, what started out as a quick, half-hour travelogue turned into a nearly four-hour deep dive on all the myriad problems that plagued it from the word "go". From overspending on minor details to opposition from the town of Pleasant Grove to a botched opening day to workplace safety hazards to conflict between employees and management, the park was troubled even before the COVID-19 Pandemic devastated the theme park industry in general. A disastrous attempt to sue Taylor Swift over her album evermore (2020) was merely the cherry on top. While it managed to limp along until December of 2023, many fans and former employees saw even what actually manifested in that time as a case of What Could Have Been that was run into the ground by its owner Ken Bretschneider's mismanagement.
