• Dawson Casting: Frances is supposed to be a young teenager. Her actress, Erin Chambers, was approaching 20 at the time of filming. This is even more amusing as Larry, a character who's supposed to be older than Frances, was played by Eric "Ty" Hodges II an actor who was two years younger than Erin.
• Recycled Trailer Music: The trailers leading up to the premiere of the movie made liberal use of the Beetlejuice theme.
