Trivia / Disney's Magical Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse

• Screwed by the Lawyers: Not this game specifically, but it played a part in Kingdom Hearts getting screwed instead. Due to Capcom having the license to use Mickey for this game, Kingdom Hearts could not star Mickey as the main character, leading to the creation of original character Sora. Even then, Kingdom Hearts could not use Mickey for anything more than what amounted to a small, partially obscured cameo. Thus, Mickey only appears at the end of the first Kingdom Hearts mostly cast in shadow, with only one close-up of his face.
• What Could Have Been: The game was originally going to be a platformer according to its announcement at Nintendo SpaceWorld 2001.
• YouTube Kids' Channel: For unknown reasons, the game is really popular with these type of channels, with videos of it reaching into the millions.
