- Development Gag: In Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a miner named Chandler is revealed at the end to be Jason Chandler, who in early plans for the attraction would have used the wealth in the mountain to finance all the strange scientific experiments in Discovery Bay. When Discovery Bay was scrapped, so was he, and the attraction's story was reworked. The last issue even teases that Jason wants to start work on the project with his savings and possibly Barnabas's own funding.
- Franchise Killer: The Enchanted Tiki Room series sold poorly and thus was the last Disney Kingdoms comic book.
- What Could Have Been:
- One can't help but wonder what other Disney attractions could've been made into comics if the Disney Kingdoms imprint didn't get killed off by the poor sales of The Enchanted Tiki Room.
- The editors have expressed that they hope for the comics to create a Shared Universe, with the comics becoming more connected to each other as the series went on. Unfortunately, due to the imprint's cancellation, this plan never went anywhere.
