- Keep Circulating the Tapes: While it's gotten a second wind on the midnight movie circuit, so far it's hard to watch at home: the out of print DVD tends to go for hundreds of dollars on Amazon, the only Blu-Ray copies are from Russia or the Czech Republic (and may not even be official), and the only releases on streaming were on the short lived Lycos Cinema and a limited "10th Anniversary Edition" release on hi-def music service Tidal. (The Tidal release, incidentally, contained rare behind the scenes footage that was never seen anywhere else, fans have archived this on YouTube)
- The Other Darrin: Guy-bot and Thomas-bot are played by... Peter Hurteau and Michael Reich.
- Role Reprise: Peter Hurteau and Michael Reich would later reprise their roles as Guy-bot and Thomas-bot in the video for Kanye West's "Stronger" (itself sampling Daft Punk's "Harder Better Faster Stronger").
- What Could Have Been: The film was originally going to be the Music Video for the title track of Human After All. As such, there are a number of Fan Edits that cut the hour-long film down to its original purpose (this
being one such example).
