• Accidentally-Correct Writing: The show generally does a pretty good job of including up-to-date topical references, so Britta's reference to "people dying in Uganda" would seem to be another instance of this in light of the media storm about Kony 2012 in the week the episode was aired, and which would be a natural thing for her to reference — except that this episode was written and shot months before that particular story flared up, and it just happened to be pure coincidence.
• Creator's Favorite Episode: According to Yvette Nicole Brown, this episode's ending tag was Chevy Chase's favorite thing he ever filmed while part of Community, as it leaned more into his traditional slapstick comedy he was known for earlier in his career.
