• Fan Translation: A few of these exist historically—one that was lost, and another used by speedrunners that was infamously janky for actually playing the game—but perhaps most notable is the Chu-Teng Fan Translation Patch, which sought to translate the game as accurately as possible and took 7 years(!) to complete.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Saved on October 2013 by a 4chan user, thankfully. After months of searching, a user who just happened to come across the thread searching for the game on /vr/ ended up actually owning a copy in his attic and uploaded it online. However, for the longest time, the game was lost in obscurity.
