Trivia / Bugs and Thugs

• Recycled Script: "Bugs and Thugs" is very similar to another Friz Freleng Cartoon starring Bugs Bunny that aired 8 years prior, "Racketeer Rabbit". Both involve Bugs dealing with gangsters, both use the names Rocky and Mugsy (Racketeer Rabbit has Bugs dealing with Edward G. Robinson and Peter Lorre look-a-likes Rocky and Hugo while Mugsy was the name of a fake gangster that Bugs impersonated and "Bugs and Thugs" has the familiar gangster duo that would appear in future Looney Tunes cartoons and media) and both end with a very similar Backup Bluff scene.
