- Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: During the NFT craze in 2021-2022 some tech-based sources somehow mistook this game for another (now discontinued) mobile game (which incidentally, also started life in 2018 and had public release in 2020) with a similar name, Battle Racers, which had NFTs. This caused a small Newbie Boom and several misinformed and confused people wondering how to get NFTs in Battle Racing Stars, when it never had any. Halfbrick Studios eventually made several official◊ statements that they are against using NFT technologies in their games, including Battle Racing Stars.
- Trolling Creator: This is the only justifiable reason for a dialogue between Dan and Barry in "Colossatron's Menace". For context, Stage 9 was in Development Hell at the time, and Dan giving an answer would have only been useful if players could understand him.Barry: Hey, Dan, now that I see you, there's a question I've always wanted to ask you... Is there going to be a stage 9?Dan: Pli pli pli...Barry: Hehe, just as I thought!
- Working Title: The game was known as Booster Raiders for the entirety of its soft-launch. The name was changed due to not being very indicative of what the game is about.
