Trivia / Batman Odyssey

• Accent Depundent: Batman resolves one of the Riddler's riddles by rhyming "order" with "water". As some reviewers pointed out, this really only works if the speaker has a really thick Boston accent.
• What Could Have Been: The series was originally supposed to be written by Frank Miller, but he had to drop out due to scheduling issues (though DC's website still credits him as co-writer for issue #2) and Neal Adams ended up both writing and penciling it.
  • Adams got to do a Wolverine story for Marvel a few years after Odyssey was completed. Unfortunately, while Adams plotted the work, the dialogue was written by someone else, resulting in a much less strange, if no more sensible, work.
