Trivia / Angel S01 E10 "Parting Gifts"

• Fake Nationality: The Korean woman was played by a Japanese woman (which would explain her poor accent).
• Throw It In!: Wesley being carried over from Buffy at all was not part of the original plan for Angel. On Buffy, Wesley was originally intended to come in for the back half of Season Three, annoy Giles and the Scoobies, and then be gloriously bumped off. But much like James Marsters as Spike, Alexis Denisof's performance won over the production team and Whedon struggled to find a way to keep Wesley involved in Buffy without clashing with Giles. The obvious solution was to instead relocate him to the spinoff (especially between the long-term plan to kill off Doyle, Glen Quinn's earlier-than-anticipated exit, and the need to fill his place on the team). Denisof was approached about reprising the role and the rest is history.
