* ThrowItIn: Wesley being carried over from ''Buffy'' at all was not part of the original plan for ''Angel''. On ''Buffy'', Wesley was originally intended to come in for the back half of Season Three, annoy Giles and the Scoobies, and then be gloriously bumped off. But much like James Marters as Spike, Alexis Denisof's performance won over the production team and Whedon struggled to find a way to keep Wesley involved in ''Buffy'' without clashing with Giles. The obvious solution was to instead relocate him to the spinoff (especially between the long-term plan to kill off Doyle, Glen Quinn's earlier-than-anticipated exit, and the need to fill his place on the team). Denisof was approached about reprising the role and the rest is history.

* FakeNationality: The Korean woman was played by a Japanese woman (which would explain her poor accent).
