• Anime First: An original anime project. While there is a manga, it began publication alongside the anime and ends up having a different plot.
• Creator Backlash: Rebecca Forstadt had a negative experience working on the show, not because of the show itself, but because she was working under bronchitis at the time and the recording sessions were late at night. She says her voice as Sugar sounded way too gravely, and that she wishes she could redo the performance.
• No Dub for You: Inverted. Only the dub is available on HiDive's website, no subs.
• Real Song Theme Tune: The theme song is a Japanese remake of "Sugar Baby Love" by The Rubettes.
