    Episode 6: Online Presence
  • Ricardo and his father plan to watch an MMA game together, but these plans fall through due to a last-minute business meeting.

    Episode 15: Dr. Dreamscape
  • The ending montage harshly contrasts each of the Flex Fighters' dreamscapes with reality.
    • Stretch dreams of painting with his Missing Mom. When he returns home after the mission, he pulls out a painting by her, and sheds some tears over her death.
    • Omni-Mass dreams of saving his parents from an explosion, with help from the Freak Sisters and The Power of Rock. When he returns home, his workaholic parents (and the incarcerated Freak Sisters) remain absent, and he struggles playing an actual guitar.
    • Wingspan dreams of telling Erika about his double life, earning admiration for his heroic deeds. When he returns to school the next day, telling Erika about his double life earns him scorn for the acts that turned him into an outlaw. After Erika storms off, Nathan's silent expression of regret closes the episode.Episode 16 spoilers

Episode 17: Rise of the Tech Men
  • Riya tells the guys and Erika early on that she and Dr. C have the day off. Jake asks if that means they've found time to relax, but she refutes with a bombshell: The anniversary of the day on which Stretch Monster killed Aadarsh and Isha Dashti has arrived, so Riya and Dr. C will return to the site of the plane crash, and pay their dues. Near the end, the episode shows Riya (wearing her Blindstrike suit, but not the mask) silently sitting in front of the plane, while Dr. C stands above her.

    Episode 22: Masters of Order
  • Blindstrike throws an axe at Rook, steamed all over again that he killed her parents. A Suddenly Shouting Dr. C scolds her, admitting that while she doesn't blame Blindstrike for wanting to lash out at him, they still need his help to save Charter City from the Tech Men.

    Tie-In Comics
  • Each issue has a flashback sequence where the personal issues for each Flex Fighter is shown:
    • A younger Jake has a happy family outing with his parents, when his mom was still alive and reined in his dad's strict tendencies.
    • Nathan becomes depressed because no one in the family volleyball game listens to him. His grandpa comes to comfort him.
    • Ricardo's flashback takes place at his previous school before coming to Charter City. He is part of the debate team with his friend, Alastair, but he suddenly has to move before a championship. This disqualifies Alastair from the championship, which costs him a chance to go to college. Ricardo also gets chewed out on it by Alastair's sister, despite not being his fault. This makes Ricardo more jaded and cynical by the time he moves to Charter City.
  • Despite the best efforts by the Flex Fighters to keep the Mantoids safe from the Extreme Hazard Unit, by the end of the story, they are under the control of Stretch Monster, who used the Flex Fighters to get a hold of them as Rook.
