  • Although Gale is now safe on the Beacon grounds and has Taiyang as her new guardian, the poor girl still has nightmares about how the Grimm wiped out the people in her village.
• Koji Koda didn't have an easy time adjusting to Remmant due to his many things. Firstly, due to his Quirk that allows him to communicate with animals, he can understand what the Grimm are saying and their intentions to kill all humans, then be seriously injured by unnatural beasts that only seek to kill as many humans as they can and be witnessing how Adam remorselessly kills the animals he summoned to help him has left the poor boy with many traumas.
  • By Episode 16, it's been noticed that he's getting more depressed, and both his team and Ren note that he might end up dropping out if something isn't done to help him.
• Bakugo is noted to be repeatedly checking the messages from his mother on his phone.
• Also the other students of Class 1-A, although they have tried to adapt to being basically Trappedin Another World where things are similar and at the same time different, it is noticeable that they miss their homes and family.
• In Chapter 18, a homeless man named Matches had his dog Scampi stolen from him by crooks as collateral for a debt that he owed. At one point, when the group runs into the crooks, they claim that his dog is dead just to twist the knife.
