Meteo just had his hometown and his family taken from him. In the first track of Chapter L, no less.

- The story of Chapter K, when you figure out what the songs and images mean. A normal girl (Iris) and a princess (Rosabel) become friends. One night, Rosabel's family is murdered and as a result she must take the throne. However, she is corrupted by an evil grimoire and Iris is forced to kill her. It's made even sadder by the last song of the chapter, which depicts an alternate universe where the conflict never happened and the two girls stayed as friends.
- At least one player, when they saw the eyecatch for "Genesys", which features the two girls dressed as detectives, commented "No more Chapter K, please..."
- The song "Vanessa" is actually pretty heartbreaking too. Especially when you see this line: "Dear Diary: is it a fortune or a misfortune to take part in the program of memory transferring?! I would be able to survive in such a way, while everybody else close to me passes away..." And then the next shot you see is of the robotic Vanessa visiting a grave while holding flowers...
- From Chapter T: 2059. It's a view of Taipei, Taiwan that was destroyed by an earthquake and rendered a radioactive zone due to the destruction of a nearby power plant. The two girls who accompany every image in this chapter are embracing each other tearfully in hazmat suits.
- Chapter L begins with Meteo's home city being destroyed, and his parents being killed. It only gets worse from there. It culimates in both Meteo and Meteor having to sacrifice themselves and vanish from history to stop Viz.
