• When Daxi first goes back in time, he thinks everything is just an elaborate trick played on him, but quickly realizes he's really gone back in time 100 years when no one knows what a smartphone is. His emotion is just heartbreaking.
• When Daxi goes back to 2018, we get a credits sequence telling us the other end of things, which is Chunxian giving Daxi her pocket watch, and then screaming in anguish when he disappears for good.
• The Reveal that Qingshan had deliberately sabotaged Xi Ji as revenge for his grandfather Saiding whose life was ruined by the Lians.
  • The preceding scene of him sabotaging those from Xi Ji that treated him nicely is also this as he pushes the pregnant Xuan down the stairs and uses a scam to take away much of their savings.
• When Saiding and Juehui break up due to their clash in personalities. It's clear Juehui doesn't want to leave but she has to as she fears his vengeance.
  • Even sadder for Juehui when Saiding angrily shouts after her that he can live on without her, which isn't all that true, since he still harbours feelings for her.
  • The Stinger also reveals that Saiding had rejected other richer families just to be with Juehui, and Juehui was at least still willing to accept him as he was sincere, but his raging tendencies was too much for her.
