The webcomic:
- When the head witch of the South tells her she doesn't need a name at all, not-Abigail-yet looks deeply dejected.
- In a way, the sentence "I was born in a coffin." Abigail has zero memory of a life before that, and even parts of her callousness seem to stem from naivety rather than anything else. Regarding her life experience, Abigail is really only a few weeks old, and people expect her to know / do a damn lot about how the world works and about world destroying / world saving shenanigans.
- The fight between Queenie and Frick is rife with this, but mostly this exchange, which comes right on the heels of a string of grander but less personal denouncements:Queenie: You stepped on my pizza when we were kids and I'll never forgive you!!!Frick: ''[with a genuinely sad expression] ...I was just trying to make you laugh...
