Tigra (sometimes referred to as Avengers Icons: Tigra) is a 2002 comic book limited series from Marvel Comics. It's written by Christina Z, with art by Mike Deodato, and color art by Chris Sotomayor.
Set in the shared Marvel Universe, it stars the titular superhero Tigra, a magically-powered cat woman with superhuman speed and strength.
The first issue was published May, 2002.
Tigra contains examples of the following tropes:
- Almost Dead Guy: At the end of the first issue, Tigra spots Captain Morrison and angrily challenges him for more information about her dead husband's connection to the Brethren, only for Morrison to wordlessly topple forwards, revealing a fatal wound under his coat.
- Posthumous Character
- Rabid Cop: The Brethren of the Blue Fist are a secretive group of New York cops who act as vigilantes while out of uniform.
