Sherry the Showgirl is a 1956 comic book series from Atlas Comics.

Sherry the Showgirl contains examples of the following tropes:
  • Blatant Lies:
  • Distracted by the Sexy: The cover gag on issue #3 shows Sherry walking past a couple eating a meal. The man's so distracted that he puts mustard on his ice cream, which his partner comments on.
  • Eating the Eye Candy: Sherry's a Head-Turning Beauty and the covers generally play this up for comedy.
    • Issue #1's cover shows a couple sitting at a table, the man entranced by Sherry. When his disgruntled partner asks what Sherry's got that she hasn't, he responds that it would take far too long to tell her.
    • Issue #2's cover shows Sherry walking past a language school, with five men leaning out the window and giving a collective "Wow!!", which needs no translation.
    • Issue #6's cover shows Sherry's rehearsal room, with a very happy window cleaner watching her dance. An onloooker comments that they now have the cleanest windows in town.
  • New Season, New Title: For issue #4, the series is retitled to Showgirls, returning to Sherry the Showgirl for #5 onwards.
