Tropes:

• Always Murder: The murders of innocent Dramon spark the plot.

• Fantastic Racism: Prejudice against the Dramon due to the atrocities commited by The Empire still endures even after the end of Samhain's reign.

• Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Elegast kills the Dramon out of revenge for his older brother Oberon's death in the Civil War.
• Stepping Out for a Quick Cup of Coffee: Ajax uses this to slip Erebus a badge which will allow him to investigate the murders.

• Thanatos Gambit: Elegast tries to get Erebus and Balion to kill him, believing his death will spark a war, but it fails because the two refuse.
