Go To

It's an ordinary day in Domino, and Yugi chats with Yami Yugi about his lost memories and how, if he could, he'd like to help him find his past and future. He also puts the Puzzle on a chain to stop any would-be thieves. On the way to school, however, Yugi sees a shady-looking fortune teller who promises to reveal his fate. As the fortune teller needs to see a personal item to reveal his future, Yugi hands over the Millennium Puzzle—and it's promptly stolen. The thief knocks him and Tea aside and runs toward an abandoned warehouse, leaving a trail to follow him.

Yugi heads to the warehouse and finds the thief is none other than Bandit Keith! But it isn't exactly Keith—he's being mind-controlled from a distance by someone named Marik. Marik also possesses a Millennium Item, the Millennium Rod, and plans to duel Yugi, through Keith, for the Puzzle. Yami Yugi can't help out, as they're separated, so Yugi is forced to face Keith's reinforced Machine deck alone.

Meanwhile, Tea finds Bakura, who promises to get help while she runs to inform Joey and Tristan. Yami Bakura decides now would be the perfect opportunity to take the Millennium Puzzle for himself, and to stall Yugi's friends he rearranges the trail Keith left. Using his Ring to guide him, he follows Marik's energy signals and arrives at the warehouse.

While Yugi is nervous, he knows he has to win for Yami Yugi's sake. He manages to rust Keith's machines with Summoned Skull's lightning, but Marik gave the American many powerful cards, including the fearsome Zera the Mant!
