As much as this is an Amnesia Movie, you aren't going to get any Backstory about the trio.
Wubbzy's Big Movie! is the Made-for-TV Movie for Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!. The movie takes place during the first season, after the episode The Tired Tail. On a quiet day in Wuzzleburg, the trio talk about their previous adventures before they decide to get some doodleberry pie. However, Wubbzy trips on a rock and bumps his head multiple times on a hill. When Widget and Walden reach Wubbzy, he doesn't remember a single thing, prompting the two to take him to the doctor, where it is revealed that he has amnesia (or, as the show calls it, knocky-noggin). From there, the two try to help him recover from amnesia by making the yellow gerbil remember the forgotten memories.

- Continuity Nod: Plenty of them, and most of them lead to each episode contained in the movie.
- The episode takes place a week after The Tired Tail.
- Pictures from the episodes Wubbzy in the Woods, Escape From Dino Island, and Pirate Treasure in Walden's scrapbook. The latter episode is played, however.
- Also in Walden's scrapbook is a picture from Come Spy With Me.
- The Tail-O-Tron 3000 from A Tale of Tails is seen. Wubbzy also gains an afro and long fur on his tail which also happened in said episode.
- Images of some season 2 episodes can be seen on the screen of the Remember-When 3000. Among these are Wubbzy and the Sparkle Stone, Meet the Wuzzles, and Wubbzy and the Fire Engine. These should not have appeared on the machine's screen, since this movie takes place during season 1note .
