"A House for Snout": Zeke and Louisa try to build a house for Snout.

"A House for Snout" contains the following tropes:

  • Argument of Contradictions: Zeke and Louisa have a few of these arguments throughout the episode.
    • First, Louisa claims that Snout wants a movie theater, a pool, a skating rink, and an elevator in his house.
Zeke: He did not say that!
    Louisa: He did too!
    • Second, Louisa claims that Snout is moody.
    Louisa: Snout sure is moody.
    Zeke: He is not.
    Louisa: Is too.
  • Fantasy Helmet Enforcement: Zeke and Louisa wear pretend construction hats while building Snout's house.
  • Feud Episode: Zeke and Louisa start arguing while making Snout's house. Louisa doesn't listen to Zeke or let him do anything. Zeke gets angry and hides in a cardboard box, but Louisa apologizes to him.
  • Foreshadowing: Mr. E attempts to recycle his cardboard boxes before it starts raining, because cardboard and water don't mix. Later, Zeke warns Louisa that they can't make a bathtub out of cardboard because cardboard and water don't mix.
  • Worthless Currency: At the start of the episode, Zeke and Louisa want to buy a dollhouse for Snout, but it costs 50 monies. They try to pay for it with two marbles, lint, and a lollipop.
Mr. E: I'm afraid we don't accept lint or lollipops as payment.

"JunJun's Brain Freeze": JunJun helps Kaya make a springtime video, but he keeps getting nervous.

"JunJun's Brain Freeze" contains the following tropes:

  • Cool Big Sis: Kaya proves to be one to JunJun, encouraging him to ask the questions for the video despite his nervousness. She believes in him throughout the episode.
  • Dynamic Akimbo: Kaya's solution for JunJun's jitters is for him to do a superhero-like "power pose" with his hands on his hips. It doesn't work.
  • Melancholy Musical Number: JunJun briefly sings about his sadness.
JunJun: Why, oh, why, can't I ask the question? Why, oh, why, do I freeze?
  • Nervous Tics: Every time JunJun gets nervous, his feathers go "poof."
  • Performance Anxiety: JunJun is revealed to be camera shy. He gets nervous, forgets what to say, and fluffs up his feathers. He compares it to a brain freeze.
  • To the Tune of...: JunJun's question songs are to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."
