Bloom and Stella sneak into Red Fountain's Day of the Royals to check on their boyfriends, who have not been answering their calls.
Tropes:
- Downer Ending: Bloom and Stella are greatly disillusioned about their respective boy, after learning that "Brandon" is really Prince Sky, who is already engaged to another girl, and "Prince Sky" is the lowly squire Brandon.
- Foreshadowing: Griffin and Faragonda end up sitting next to each other, where they remissness about having both been tricked by a Red Fountain boy who tried to date both of them at the same time. They turned him into a goat. Later we learn that Sky had been dating Bloom while already being engaged too to Diaspro, and while they don't turn Sky into a goat Bloom walks away furious.
- Recycled Animation: The 4Kids dub reuses footage from episode 6 to add a scene where the Winx are punished for ruining The Day of the Royals.
- The Reveal: Sky and Brandon had switched identities, meaning that "Brandon" was really Prince Sky all along and vice versa. He is also engaged to Diaspro.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: While in the original version there is no mention of the girls being disciplined for ruining the Day of the Royals, the 4Kids dub adds a scene where Faragonda and Griselda confront the Winx. They point out that no, Sky and Brandon's actions were no excuse, especially since Bloom attacked Diaspro, a princess, seemingly unprovoked. Faragonda mentions that it's likely they'll be expelled.
- Wham Episode: Bloom discovers Sky had switched his identity with Brandon and vice versa, and is engaged to Princess Diaspro.
- What the Hell, Hero?: The 4Kids dub adds a scene where Faragonda and Griselda confront the Winx for ruining The Day of the Royals.
