Charlie adopts baby snakes despite the Bears thinking he's not ready for parenthood.
Tropes:
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: All the baby snakes have brown and green coloring except for one with black and white stripes and black spots around his eyes. Charlie calls him Panda Jr. because of the resemblance to Panda.
- Badly Battered Babysitter: Charlie becomes run-ragged taking care of the baby snakes.
- Big Damn Heroes: Just when the eagle appears to have the upper hand against Charlie, the baby snakes' real parents attack it and save him.
- Bite of Affection: Charlie assumes this is what the baby snakes are doing when they bite him.
- Hope Spot: After Charlie finds most of the snake babies, he panics when he can't find Panda Jr. The Bears point out that he's right behind him, safe and sound. And then an eagle snatches him.
- Kidnapping Bird of Prey: Panda Jr gets snatched by an eagle, intending to feed him to its own babies.
- Mama Bear: Charlie confronts an eagle to save Panda Jr., which the Bears think proves he can be a great parent. (Note that it's Mama Bear and not Papa Wolf because Charlie specifically considers himself as the snakes' mother.)
