• Job Song: Tori and Robbie are forced to chop squid while singing the humiliating "squid chopping song".

• Mushroom Samba: Sikowitz drinks spoiled coconut milk which causes him to hallucinate Trina doing a funny and talented tryout, thus signing yes on all the other judges papers, getting Trina into Hollywood Arts.
• Over-the-Shoulder Carry: Kwakoo does this to Tori when she tries leaving without paying.
• "Rashomon"-Style: The main circle all give their version of how Trina got into Hollywood Arts, ranging from an accident rendering her untalented to her beating up the faculty. Sikowitz finally clears the air and gives an exact recounting of Trina's audition.
• Work Off the Debt: Robbie and Tori are forced to work at Nozu Sushi after apparently each forgot to bring money. When they finally work off their lunch, Robbie accidentally breaks a bunch of plates and is left behind by Tori to work off the cost of the plates.
