Tropes

  • Chekhov's Gunman: Ignis shows up at the early part of the episode watching Trigger Dark's rampage, then reappears at the end getting possessed by the leftover energy of the Dark Giant.
  • Internal Reveal: Yuna learns from Akito that Kengo is Ultraman Trigger and decides to keep quiet.
  • Not Quite Dead: Trigger Dark is seemingly ended by Glitter Eternity's finisher... Only to survive and have his leftover essence forcefully bond with Ignis.
  • The Reveal:
    • Kengo and Trigger were actually a single being all along. They proceed to split off from Trigger Dark afterwards.
    • The Dark Giants were petrified when Trigger Glitter Eternity first appeared and used his light to seal them and then launch them into space with Trigger himself launching himself into Mars.
    • Trigger obtained his Glitter Eternity form when Yuzare empowered him with a fraction of the Eternity Core's power.
  • Wham Episode:
    • Trigger debuts his Glitter form and uses it to defeat the Dark Giants and Trigger Dark.
    • Though seemingly killed at first, Trigger Dark turns out to have survived and his leftover essence possesses Ignis at the end of the episode.
