The discovery of a stone tablet reveals new long hidden information. But meanwhile, the evil clutches of Darrgon close in around Yuna! Kengo and Akito rush in to save the day, but Darrgon is not quite his usual self... You can't be serious! Darrgon has fallen in love with Yuna!?
Tropes
- Breather Episode: At first the episode serves as a lighter note on the series' previously plot-focused episodes, having a slightly sillier plotline involving an infatuated Darrgon trying and failing to court Yuna with Zaragas' attack treated with less seriousness and stakes than previous kaiju. At least until the end, that is.
- Cringe Comedy: A lot of the episode's humor is derived from Darrgon's embarrassingly bad attempts at flirting with Yuna and the sheer awkwardness of his sudden feelings.
- The Reveal:
- Ultraman Trigger was a Dark Giant in the past and even led the others against Yuzare.
- The reason Darrgon considers Trigger a Worthy Opponent is because Trigger was once his sparring partner before he turned to the light.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Ignis has wizened up to what usually happens to him when a kaiju gets involved and bails out when Zaragas emerges from its slumber.
- Wall Pin of Love: Darrgon tries to woo Yuna with this, after some advice from Ignis. However, him being the so-called "Herculean Fighter", he damages the wall, leaving a prominent dent on it.
- Wham Episode: The episode reveals that Ultraman Trigger was once a Dark Giant and stood against Yuzare with his commrades.
- What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: The main conflict of the episode occurs when Darrgon has trouble understanding his growing feelings for Yuna.
