The Autobots participate in a race across Europe to keep an eye on racer Auggie Cahnay, whose advanced racecar makes him a target for the Decepticons. Megatron, seeking the Pearl of Bahoudin, orders the Stunticons to capture Auggie's car and stop the Autobots from reaching the finish line.

- Artistic License – Geography: The map shown of Europe
◊ is very off-model. France is huge and nearly envelops Germany (which is not divided into East and West as it was in 1985), Bulgaria's (or "Bulgalia's") border contains Greece, Poland is missing, and the countries of Europe are overall more horizontally-aligned than in real life. - Bilingual Bonus: Auggie Canhay’s surname translates as “dog”, making his name “Auggie Doggie”.
- Brick Joke: The Autobots, in a rush to stop the Decepticons, zoom right past the finish line without stopping. This confuses the race announcer who waits for them to come back for a post-race interview. At the very end of the episode, it cuts back to the announcer all alone at the stands still waiting for the Autobots to come back for that interview.Announcer: Well, as night falls here at Istanbul, we're hoping to have that interview with the winners for you... um, sometime soon. I hope... Uh, does somebody want to go out and grab us some dinner?
- Cool Car: Auggie's racecar is described as a custom-built model built by Symultech Industries, complete with an engine made out of a rare energy-resistant metal. The Autobots are worried that Auggie's car might attract the Decepticons. Sure enough, Megatron arranged the whole race so he could steal the engine of Auggie's car to build a device capable of controlling the Pearl of Bahoudin.
- Dwindling Party: Non-lethal variation. The Stunticons defeat the racing Autobots one-by-one until only Bumblebee, Bluestreak, and Tracks are left.
- Godzilla Threshold: With the Autobots severely outnumbered and Megatron in possession of the Pearl of Bahoudin, Bumblebee steals the Pearl and plans to use its devastating powers to scare away the Decepticons.Bumblebee: Didn't you hear Megatron say how powerful it is?
Bluestreak: Yeah, but he also said it was dangerous!
Bumblebee: Could it be worse than this? - Kidnapped Scientist: The Decepticons kidnap the archaeologist Professor Teranova to help them locate the Pearl of Bahoudin. Professor Teranova frees himself and manages to warn the Autobots about Megatron's plans.
- No Ontological Inertia: The Pearl of Bahoudin creates a massive storm complete with tornadoes and thunderclouds. Once Bumblebee destroys the core, the storms immediately die down including the tornado Bumblebee was currently in.
- Weather-Control Machine: The Pearl of Bahoudin contains the power core of ancient Cybertronian weather satellite and is capable of generating city-destroying storms when exposed to Earth's atmosphere. Megatron hopes to use the metal from Auggie's car to create a device capable of wielding the core's power and use it to devastate the Earth.
