• Big "WHAT?!": Red Alert gives one after getting an update on Optimus, Landmine and Leobreaker's situation.
  Override: Scattorshot, how are they holding up?
  Scattorshot: Well, an army of crazy, angry ancient Decepticons has them surrounded, so they've probably been better!
  Red Alert: WHAT?! Hang in there, guys! We're coming!
• Blasting It Out of Their Hands: Starscream shoots Optimus's hand, setting it on fire and making him drop his gun.
• Bond Villain Stupidity: Starscream has Optimus, Landmine and Leobreaker dead to rights after he effortlessly defeats them and releases the ancient Decepticons, but instead of terminating them himself, he leaves them to get buried in the collapsing ice cave. What's worse is that he encourages Jetfire to go back and save them.
• Curb-Stomp Battle: Starscream takes down Optimus, Landmine and Leobreaker with minimal difficulty.
• Improvised Armour: Crosswise uses his car modes windshield/roof (which goes on his left arm in robot mode) as a shield while fighting Starscream.
• Pass the Popcorn: Sideways clearly enjoys watching Crosswise and Starscream fight.
  Sideways: (whistle) I think I'll just stay here and watch the show.
• Say My Name: The last line of the episode is Megatron angrily yelling "STARSCREAM!" after the fake map imprisons him along with Ransack, Mudflap and Thundercracker.
• Team Rocket Wins: Starscream releases an army of ancient Decepticons that are all loyal to him, and successfully traps Optimus and Megatron.
