Tropes

  • Batman Gambit: Due to London's habit of refusing to attend school, her father forces her to do it on the ship with the cover of it being a vacation.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with London ditching the ship and heading to Parrot Island.
  • Every Man Has His Price: London bribes her first roommate, Padma, into leaving the school. This tactic doesn't work on Bailey.
  • Humiliation Conga: To London at least. Being tricked onto a vacation to turns on to be school, being stuck with a roommate, getting an octopus stuck on her, and Bailey becoming her roommate is her final straw and she leaves the ship.
  • Hypocrite: Cody tells Zack not to cry over being seperated from mom, and he says he won't... only to start crying in public.
  • Literal Metaphor: London complaining about the high school being a pain in the butt as she walks away with an octopus on her behind.
  • Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: Mr. Moseby's reaction to being stuck with the twins again is to promptly jump overboard. London later does this when she gets stuck rooming in Bailey.
  • Sweet Polly Oliver: Since Seven Seas High have no more cabins for girls, Bailey decides to sneak in disguised as a boy. When she's outed, London had conveniently bribed her roommate off the ship, so Bailey's allowed to stay as London's new roommate.
  • Tempting Fate: When London leaves a note behind saying she's running away, Mr. Moseby boasts she was specifically sent here because you can't run away from a cruise ship. Cue the sounds of a helicopter.
