• Brought Home the Wrong Kid: After Niles sends C.C. on a wild goose chase looking for "Sidney", the fake child she was "meant" to be looking after, he's horrified to discover that she really did bring a little blonde boy named Sidney back to the Sheffield residence, and is convinced they're going to go to prison for kidnapping. C.C., it turns out, put the kid and his mother up to it just to turn the tables.
  C.C. Okay, you can go. Here's ten for you, and ten for your mom.
  Boy: But you promised us fifty.
  C.C. And if you'd remembered the part about "needing your insulin", you'd be getting fifty.
• Chaos While They're Not Looking: When Fran learns from Niles that Maxwell is at a party, they race each other for the unoccupied jacuzzi.
• Five-Second Foreshadowing: A hungover Mr. Sheffield gets a moment's notice to dread the impending sound of Fran's voice.
• Remember the New Guy?: Invoked by Niles, who sees that C.C. has finally memorized the names of the Sheffield children and decides to prank her by mentioning a fourth, "little Sidney", complete with a fake family photograph. C.C. is, of course, still too clueless about the family to notice.
  C.C. [studying the photo] ...Yep. Yep, I've seen that face.
  Niles: Of course you have!
  [C.C. walks out, and Grace walks in]
  Grace: Niles, are you done with my picture of us with Macaulay Culkin?
  [Niles hands it back and shushes her]
• Shout-Out: Drunk Max sings "Do You Think I'm Sexy" and Fran tells him not even Rod Stewart can make that sound sexy anymore.
