When the Girls fly to the Bahamas for Rose's aunt's funeral, they take the opportunity to cope with some of their phobias.
Tropes:
- Blatant Lies: At one point while on the plane, Rose finds a random big bolt in the aisle. When the stewardess makes an announcement about said bolt, she very obviously lies and says that it came off of a beverage cart.
- Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick: When Dorothy tries to confront her fear of flying:
- Stewardess: Please review the information cards in your seat pockets for the safety information in the unlikely event of a mishap during our flight.Dorothy: Mishap?! What does she mean by mishap?!Blanche: She means like bad movies, or cold food, or running out of ice.Rose: Running out of gas...Dorothy: Oh my God!
- Kick the Dog: When picturing Rose and Dorothy naked, as soon as Blanche pictures the latter naked, she (and soon Rose) have a good laugh at her expense, especially once she gets up and tries to walk away.
- Not So Above It All: After Dorothy gets drunk on the plane, she becomes less uptight and even cracks jokes at both Rose and Blanche's expenses.
