After Timmy accidentally destroys Vicky's house, her family is invited to stay at the Turners, and after being constantly treated like a dog, Timmy wishes for some special 3D glasses that could scare the family out of the house.
Tropes:
- Abusive Parents: Mr. and Mrs. Turner. They force Timmy to sleep outside in the rain attached to a dog leash, not give him any breakfast, and show no respect for his property by cutting up his vintage Crimson Chin comic books to make a collage with Vicky and her family.
- I Kiss Your Foot: At one point in the episode, Nicky is seen licking her daughter's shoes as a form of appeasement after drawing her wrath.
- Psychotic Smirk: Timmy gives one just before the geyser of lava hits Vicky's house. Too bad this was a bit of Tempting Fate when he later learns to his horror that his parents are allowing Vicky's family to stay with them, and he ends up getting the short end of the stick with being forced to sleep out in the doghouse in the rain and be treated like crap while his parents do their best to make Vicky, Tootie, and their parents feel at home.
- Show Within a Show: The Haunted Volcano in 3D.
- Through the Eyes of Madness: Timmy makes a wish that causes anyone who looks through the 3D glasses to see a real scary movie in real life. The glasses' visions turn Mom and Dad into monsters, the spaghetti and meatballs Mom makes into spaghetti and eyeballs, and Dad's French bread into French arm. When Dad tries them on later, it turns Timmy and Mom's heads into Dinkleberg's.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Vicky and Tootie, respectively. When they take over Timmy's bedroom, Vicky's half is a medieval dungeon, while Tootie's half is a pink and girly room with unicorns.Timmy: I don't know which side is scarier!
- With Friends Like These...: Tootie does nothing to help Timmy when both his parents and Vicky mistreat him.
