- Continuity Nod: A few episodes ago, Sheldon confessed to Amy that he got his driver's license a couple of years ago. Now he tells Howard.
- Disappeared Dad: Sheldon and Howard discuss theirs. Raj feels left out and tells them about when his dad gave him a starter Mercedes and came home really late that night.

Sheldon: Honestly, I barely passed my test. And the one time I drove on my own, I made a U-turn, got dizzy, threw up and walked home. - "Well Done, Son" Guy: Leonard, as usual, wants his mother to be proud of him. She actually does say she's proud of him for marrying Penny, whom she confesses is her favorite of her children's spouses.
- Worth It: When Leonard goes to the cleaners because they didn't get the stain out of his cosplay Starfleet uniform, the following exchange occurs:Penny: Well, if you didn't make me wear the green body paint in bed, you wouldn't have to get it dry cleaned so much.
Leonard: Nah, it's worth it.
