Chapter 2: Mako POV
Mankanshoku Mako wakes up on a top bunk in a panic about being late for school, waking the three other women in the room as she runs around in worry. The pink-haired girl on the bunk below hers calms her by pointing out that she doesn't know how to get to her school from where she is. Introductions follow: the pink-haired girl is Fujiwara Chika, the red-haired woman with glasses is Kobayashi, and the brown-haired girl is Honda Tohru.
Honda notices Hanako's head poking through the door and throws a pillow at him in fear; it passes through him. As Hanako pulls back, Kobayashi opens the door and meets the four boys from the other room, and they confirm their shared ignorance while realizing there are forty people present in total. Mako excitedly suggests that they're on a hidden camera show, which Kobayashi refutes, and the group as a whole notices that some of their voices sound familiar to each other.
A male scream comes from another room, and they run to see what's going on.
