The Turtles meet a Merdude from the Lost City of Atlantis and they decide to help him find his way back. Unfortunately, the Technodrome has detected Atlantis and Krang and Shredder decides to drain the city of its power.

- Our Mermaids Are Different: Alim Coelacanth, also known as Merdude, is from the lost city of Atlantis and is its true ruler. He claims he's related to the ancient species of fish Coelacanth, and while the other Atlantians are human, he is part fish, and he treats a 200-year absence as a rather short time. Whether he's some kind of mutant or alien or the last of a merfolk species is never specified.
