- Horny Vikings: Eric the Red-Eye and his men are all dressed as though they're stereotypical vikings, Horns of Barbarism and all.
- Thunder Hammer: Invoked. Eric's "Hammer of Thor" is actually a laser-weapon meant to invoke the mythological Mjölnir. Especially ironic considering it's an axe.
