- Senseless Sacrifice: In the opening flashback, Beast Boy ignored Mento's orders to prioritize destroying the Brotherhoods doomsday device over saving them. He only did so because the stress of the situation caused him to unlock his T-Rex transformation, which made him strong enough to actually save them, which allowed Negative Man to destroy the machine himself. Despite this, Mento still chews Beast Boy out for saving them instead of destroying the machine, preferring that Beast Boy follow orders. To this day he still considers Beast Boy's actions a mistake.
