After he sees that Dr. Arthur Light has run out of villainous plans, Robin threatens to fire him from their Rogues Gallery unless he gets his act together.
- And This Is for...: When the other Titans decide to act as Dr. Light's henchmen and make it look like Dr. Light drowned them in a vat of mayonnaise, the clueless Robin is genuinely aghast and avenges his friend by beating them up.
- Dirty Coward: While the other Titans are initially fine with helping Dr. Light be villainous so Robin won't fire him, they draw the line when they see him trying to sneak away after Robin's already beaten up his "henchmen".
- Dramatic Irony: Robin dedicating each henchman he brutally knocks out to his friends, unaware that the henchmen ARE his teammates in disguise trying to prevent Dr. Light from being fired.
- Enemy Mine: The other Titans feel guilty over Dr. Light struggling to maintain his villain status, outright working as his minions when Robin tries to prove how ineffectual Dr. Light is.
- Poke the Poodle: Robin realizes that Dr. Light needs to be let go when his latest scheme is just flashing a light into people's faces. Later, Dr. Light tries to prove he's still got it by breaking into Titan Tower and flickering the light in Robin's bedroom while he's trying to sleep.
- Punctuated Pounding: During Robin's And This Is for... beatdown, he's especially passionate about avenging "pure, innocent, Starfire!", hitting the henchman (who's actually Starfire) once for each word.
- Redemption Rejection: After striking out and getting fired from being a villain by Robin, Arthur Light takes up work as a genuine electrician. He's then called in to help repair the lights in Titan Tower, and as he leaves, it turns out that everything that happened was all one evil plan to install explosive bulbs and blow the Tower up.
- Unwilling Suspension: In order to help Dr. Light seem like a credible villain, the other Titans help him suspend a large box labeled "kidnapped Titans" over a vat of mayonnaise and then drop it in when Robin arrives.
