Recap / Teen Titans Go S 6 E 34 Toddler Titans Yay

Go To

Control Freak thinks that the Titans' sense of humor is too juvenile for their timeslot, so he changes their rating from "TV Teen" to "TV Baby" and transforms the Titans into kids show hosts.

  • Bag of Holding: Cyborg, as Robin's fanny pack, is shown to contain a banana, a spoon, a pair of boots, and twelve whole logs when it's time for the Titans to build a raft and cross a river.
  • Battle Discretion Shot: Because they're not allowed to be violent on a baby show, Robin asks the audience to close their eyes and don't peak while they beat up the embodiment of their rating, causing the screen to go black while the sounds of gunfire and explosions play.
  • Fake Interactivity: As part of their toddler-oriented programming, Robin has to put up with this constantly happening, and quickly gets annoyed that they have to wait for children to pick the correct option instead of just getting through the plot and returning to normal as quick as they can.
  • Forced Transformation: While Robin remains a human in the new Toddler-focused show, Cyborg is turned into a fanny pack, Raven is turned into a sentient book, Starfire is turned into a cat, and Beast Boy is stuck as a dog.
  • Fountain of Youth: Control Freak transforms Robin into a toddler, though he and the other Titans retain their intelligence.
  • Shout-Out: At one point, the Titans have to deal with a thieving beaver named Taker that has to be dealt with by the audience saying "Taker don't be Taking", directly referencing Swiper from Dora the Explorer.
