Killer Moth puts out a missing poster for Silkie, and the male titans happen to find one. Hilarity Ensues.
This episode contains examples of:
- Blatant Lies: Cyborg, Robin, and Beast claim that they had no idea there was a reward for Silkie's return, but then they wait for Killer Moth to give it to them.
- Continuity Nod: Killer Moth refers to Silkie as Larva M3-19, his codename from the original series.
- Pooled Funds: The male Titans, after getting their reward from Killer Moth, decide to directly reference DuckTales (1987) by doing this with the money.
- Shout-Out:
- The male Titans make various references to DuckTales (1987), not only gathering their money as Pooled Funds, but also then spending it on racecars, lasers, airplanes, rewriting history and solving mysteries in a dumb blur.
- Silkie giving Starfire and Raven a ride through the clouds to return home is a recreation of the ending of The Neverending Story.
- Suddenly Voiced: When Starfire and Raven break into Killer Moth's base to rescue Silkie, Silkie gets mutated into a giant winged version of itself, and realizes it's also gained the ability to speak. It immediately uses the opportunity to tell the girls how much he loves them, and then offer a ride back to Titan Tower, leaving Killer Moth dejected that all of the work he put into creating Silkie was wasted.
- Uninvited to the Party: The episode starts with Titans East throwing a massive rave that the guys from Titan West are dancing to, only for the camera to then reveal they're actually in the alley outside of where the rave is.
