"Mateo's Last Day"

Mateo's transfer to another store hits a snag when they require a social security card. Glenn becomes fixated on someone who left the store a bad review on Yelp; Garrett and Dina struggle to define their relationship when faced with disclosure forms.

  • Actual Pacifist: Jonah is, so much that even when Mateo is begging him to punch him so he can become a citizen he can't bring himself to do it.
  • Break His Heart to Save Him: Mateo ends up breaking up with Jeff because he doesn't want to put him through the difficult situation of having an undocumented employee as a boyfriend.
  • Citizenship Marriage: Jonah offers to marry Mateo for the latter's citizenship.
Mateo: When you put it like that, the ass-beating doesn't sound so bad.
  • Friends with Benefits: Defied. Garrett and Dina refuse to consider themselves this, since while they do have sex a lot, they don't consider each other friends.
  • Relationship Labeling Problems: Garrett and Dina have to fill out corporate disclosure forms due to their sexual relationship. None of the options apply to their dynamic, which they insist is emotionally detached sex. However, when asked what new option should be added to the box, they struggle to actually label their relationship and just end up going with "other."
  • Somebody Doesn't Love Raymond: After Glenn learns that a Yelper called "Frenchfryguy81" (real name Tim) posted a negative review of the store online, he has such trouble dealing with it that he contacts the guy personally and gives him a tour of the store in an attempt to change his mind. Of course, everything he does is just rewarded with another, even worse review.
  • Stating the Simple Solution: Garrett and Dina, after spending the whole episode struggling to define their relationship to corporate, they suggest just adding a box to the form that says "other".
